Saturday Geocaching Event

Saturday 28th November - 11am to 4:30pm started at Coonalpyn Hall

"The day started off with wind & rain and weren't sure if any teams would be showing up, however once the rush of the Historical Trail goers came, the first of the teams came along to register. Another two teams with their Geokids came along to and after grabbing their task sheets, went on their way.

It rained and blew a gale on and off during the day but eventually the teams arrived back at the Hall to collect their prize. Some of the observational questions on the task sheet had been answered but the 'local knowledge' ones were apparently a little bit tougher that even some locals they asked did not know the answers!

It was great to see some teams come along to enjoy a great day (albeit wet and windy!)."
